Leady has 20 points to lead Eastwood

PEMBERVILLE - Kevin Leady scored 11 of his 20 points in the first quarter as Eastwood jumped to an 18-9 lead and never lost it in a 69-57 victory over Otsego last night.

The Knights did come within two points twice in the fourth period. Both times Leady - who added 10 rebounds - got the ball inside and put the margin back to four.

Josh Schulte added 12 points for the Eagles (10-6, 9-3) and Jake Speck had 10 points and eight rebounds.

Damien Montelongo scored 17 points for Otsego (9-7, 8-4), while Casey Donald and Chad Zellin netted 16 apiece.

KANSAS - Tyler Rosenberger scored 10 of his 16 points in the first quarter as the Wildcats jumped to a 16-6 lead and coasted.

He added eight rebounds and Joe Nowak scored 12 for Woodmore (12-3, 10-1).

MILLBURY - Zach Diekman led the way with 22 points and 15 rebounds for the Comets, who outscored the Flyers 29-19 in the fourth quarter and 24-11 at the foul line.

Adam Edens added 18 points and Zach Alt had 13 for Genoa (8-9, 6-5).

Wes Blank scored 20 points and Tyler Steedman chipped in 11 points and 15 rebounds for the Flyers (5-12, 2-9).

BLOOMDALE - Drew Williams scored eight of his game-high 17 points and Marcus Ahl had seven of his 12 in the fourth quarter, when the Golden Bears outscored the Royals 28-10.

Brent Ernsthausen added 16 points and seven rebounds for Gibsonburg (6-10, 4-7).

Kyle Rhoad paced Elmwood (9-7, 6-5) with 12.
