Michigan: Gayner paces Mason

BLISSFIELD - Kyle Gayner ran for 144 yards and a touchdown to pace Erie Mason to a 32-25 victory over Blissfield last night.

The Eagles (4-2, 4-1 LCAA) racked up 391 yards of offense, while the Royals (2-4, 1-3) piled up 434.

Aaron Roelfs threw for 122 yards and two touchdowns for Erie Mason, including a 27-yard strike to Mike Knab and a 11-yard touchdown pass to Nick Owens.

Kevin Lawn and Mike Smith had touchdown runs of 13 and 11 yards, respectively, for the Eagles.

Dustin Gardner ran for touchdowns of 1 and 53 yards for Blissfield, while Tyler Wehner and Rob Bolster hauled in touchdowns passes from quarterback Chris Saylor.

OTTAWA LAKE - George Flanner rushed 12 times for 78 yards and two touchdowns and caught a 39-yard TD pass from Jed Bunge for the Bobcats, who scored 28 unanswered points in the second half.

Bunge completed 4 of 9 passes for 87 yards for Whiteford (3-3, 2-2 TCC), which totaled 156 on the ground.

Adrian Madison (1-5, 0-3) rushed for 161 yards and added 71 through the air.

Chase Johnson also scored on a 30-yard interception return for Whiteford.

Ypsilanti Lincoln 22, Bedford 19

TEMPERANCE - Jim Simpson rushed 24 times for 123 yards and a touchdown for the Mules, but Norman Johnson ran it in from the 15 for Ypsilanti Lincoln with 2:50 to play for the winning score.

Lincoln, which had a 14-7 lead at the half, rushed for 311 yards.

Matt Dusseau added touchdown runs of 4 and 24 yards for Bedford (1-5), which gained 136 yards on the ground and 135 through the air but botched two PATs.
