Notre Dame repeated as City League girls tennis champion yesterday at Jermain Park.
The Eagles captured both the No. 1 singles and doubles titles.
Junior Neela Vaez of Notre Dame repeated as champion at No. 1 singles, defeating Kelly O'Connell of St. Ursula 6-0, 6-1.
Notre Dame's Tara Majdalani and Heather Jurgensen bested St. Ursula's Caitlin Masters and Alexia Davis 6-4, 6-4 in No. 1 doubles.
Other champions were Meredith Morse (Notre Dame) in No. 2 singles, Alexis Marino (St. Ursula) in No. 3 singles, and Madhuri Mehta and Alice Fournier (Notre Dame) in No. 2 doubles.
Notre Dame won the team competition with 50 points to St. Ursula's 46. Central Catholic and Clay tied for third with 29 points, followed by Libbey with 27 points.
