Michigan: Seevers leads rally as Whiteford tops B-D

BRITTON - Nate Seevers scored three second-half touchdowns as Whiteford rallied past Britton-Deerfield 40-22 last night.

Seevers scored on 3 and 32-yard runs and on a 36-yard interception return in the fourth quarter that wrapped up the scoring for the Bobcats (5-4, 3-3 TCC), who totaled 206 yards, 148 on the ground.

Chuck Tabbert also scored for Whiteford on a blocked punt in the first quarter, and Anthony LaRocca returned a kickoff 72 yards to the end zone in the second.

LaRocca led all rushers with 54 yards on 13 carries.

Adam Diver ran 12 times for 29 yards and two touchdowns for B-D (1-8, 1-5), which passed for 219 of its 264 total yards. Justin Preece completed 13 of 21 passes, one a 13-yard TD connection with Brian Bartels.

Jed Bunge also scored on a five-yard run for the Bobcats.

TAYLOR - Matt Dusseau ran five yards for a touchdown in the fourth quarter to cement the victory for Bedford.

Bryan Strouse had given Bedford the early lead when he caught a 14-yard scoring pass from Brandon Jackson.

Nate Hartbarger led the Mules with 62 yards rushing.

Taylor's Eric Jackson kicked a 28-yard field goal.

Bedford (3-6) intercepted three passes and recovered a fumble to stymie the Cougars.
