Findlay rallies to top Sandusky

SANDUSKY - Brad Sutton scored 18 points, Zack Kraus added 15 and Jesse Wohl had 11 as Findlay (8-4, 5-1) overcame an 11-point second-quarter deficit to beat Sandusky 57-52 last night in Greater Buckeye Conference basketball.

FREMONT ROSS 51,

MARION HARDING 48

FREMONT - Adam Gries scored 14 points and Traveyon Wolverton had 10 for Ross (5-7, 4-2), which stretched a two-point halftime lead to nine in the third quarter.

DEFIANCE 81, KENTON 45

KENTON - Graham Wagner (20 points), Nate Ripke (18) and Jordan Schultz (16) led the Bulldogs, who outscored Kenton 53-26 in the second half. Julian Bostelman had 15 rebounds.

SHAWNEE 58, NAPOLEON 39

LIMA - Unbeaten Shawnee hit twice as many field goals and had a 31-15 scoring advantage in the second half over Napoleon, which was paced by Larry Ward's eight points.

GALION 85, FOSTORIA 63

GALION - J.B. Shuck poured in 30 points for Galion, which shot 60 percent from the field. Marcus Hyde tallied 22 for Fostoria.

WILLARD - Tyler Scott scored 16 points and Derrick Rinehart added 11 for Tiffin Columbian (6-2, 4-2 NOL), which barely survived Jimmy Langhurst's 40 for Willard (9-1, 5-1).

UPPER SANDUSKY 99, BELLEVUE 46

UPPER SANDUSKY - Jon Diebler threw in 24 points to lead six double-figure scorers, and the Rams (9-0, 6-0 NOL) bolted to a 38-14 lead after one quarter.

Travis Brown and Jeff DeBlase scored 12 and 11, respectively, for the Redmen (2-7, 1-6).

FINDLAY - Nathan Hyde threw in 21 points and Matt Copus had 17, and the Eagles (6-3, 3-1 BVC) sprinted to a 34-21 lead at the half. Jason Kryling scored 13 for the Panthers (2-7, 1-3).
