Jackson leads Ayersville over Holgate

HOLGATE - Anthony Jackson scored 16 points for Ayersville, which grabbed a four-way share of the Green Meadows Conference title with a 36-27 victory over 10th-ranked Holgate last night.

The Pilots (13-4, 5-2) led 14-10 at the half and 28-18 after three quarters.

Blake Sizemore dropped in 10 points for Holgate (15-4, 5-2). Wayne Trace and Tinora are also 5-2.

DEFIANCE - Aaron Roberts tallied 20 points for the Rams, who sank 15 of 18 free throws.

ANTWERP - Chris Everetts and Adam Riehle scored 18 and 17 points, respectively, for the Bulldogs (11-7, 2-5 GMC).

OTTAWA-GLANDORF 52, DEFIANCE 40

OTTAWA - Nathan Pothast hit four 3-pointers en route to 14 points for the Titans (8-10, 4-4 WBL). Nate Ripke scored 13 for the Bulldogs ( 7-11, 3-5).

FOSTORIA - Chad Ritzler tallied 16 points for the Mohawks (14-3, 8-1 MAL). Travis Kinn posted 15 points and 23 rebounds for New Riegel (11-7, 6-3).

BASCOM - Duane Posey (15 points) made both ends of a 1-and-1 with 4.5 seconds left to lift the Chieftains (11-7, 7-3 MAL), who overcame a 15-point deficit in the final 6:50. Kaleb Faber paced the Warriors (8-10, 5-4) with 20.

ST. MARY 71, CLYDE 60

CLYDE - Nick Felter hit five 3-pointers en route to 35 points for Sandusky St. Mary. Nick Tea scored 18 for the Fliers.

PETTISVILLE 37, STRYKER 32

STRYKER - Justin Rufenacht dropped in 21 points as the Blackbirds earned a share of the Buckeye Border Conference lead with the Panthers at 8-1.

FINDLAY 43, NAPOLEON 34

FINDLAY - Carlee Roethlisberger threw in 17 points as the Trojans improved to 18-2. Amberly Conklin paced the Wildcats (13-7) with 17 points.
