GENOA The Springfield softball team upset top-ranked Bellevue in a Division II district final yesterday.
The Blue Devils, who are ranked 10th in the state, knocked out previously undefeated and top-ranked Bellevue 2-0.
Junior Allison Phillips threw a complete-game three-hitter and sophomore Kelcee Gwozdz smacked a solo home run for Springfield (24-4).
