Archbold avenged last season's loss at Evergreen by sweeping three straight games - and the Northwest Ohio Athletic League title - on their home floor last week.

The Blue Streaks pounded the Vikings 25-12, 25-14, 25-20 to improve to 21-1 overall and 8-0 in the league. The NWOAL title was the 19th overall for Archbold, but its first since 2003. The Streaks ranked eighth in Division III in the final state coaches poll.

Findlay claimed its fifth consecutive Greater Buckeye Conference title by posting a 10-0 record in conference play. The Trojans have won 51 consecutive GBC matches and have gone unbeaten in league play in each of the past five years.

Hopewell-Loudon, ranked ninth in Division IV, won the Midland Athletic League title for the 15th time with a 10-0 record in league play. The title was the Chieftains first since 2001.

Leipsic found itself in the unusual circumstance of winning parts of two league titles this season.

The Vikings earned a share of the Blanchard Valley Conference crown as they tied with Arlington and Liberty-Benton at 8-1. Leipsic also shared the Putnam County League title with Kalida and Columbus Grove at 5-1.

It marked the first time the Vikings had won both the BVC and PCL titles in the same season.

Edon, which is ranked eighth in Division IV, swept to the Buckeye Border Conference crown at 10-0.

Ayersville, ranked 17th in Division IV, won the Green Meadows Conference title thanks to a 7-0 league record.

Huron (20-2), ranked No. 1 in Division III in Ohio, swept through the Sandusky Bay Conference with a 14-0 mark.

Ottawa-Glandorf, ranked fifth in Division II, won the Western Buckeye League title with a 9-0 league mark.
