MASSILLON, Ohio - Daniel Rod passed for two touchdowns and ran for another to lead Cincinnati Anderson to a 31-25 win over Louisville in the Division II championship game at Paul Brown Tiger Stadium last night.

Neal Seaman threw touchdown passes of 14, 4 and 3 yards to Brandon Mathie and 19 yards to Bob Swigert for Louisville, which got within 24-19 before Elijah Storey's 67-yard run with 2:44 to play appeared to put it out of reach at 31-19.

But Seaman found Swigert in the end zone with 20 seconds left to pull the Leopards (12-3) back within six. Louisville's onside kick was recovered by Anderson at midfield.

Rod connected with Nick Truesdell for touchdowns of 52 and 20 yards as Anderson (13-2) built a 17-point lead in its first trip to the state title game.

The junior completed 12 of 19 passes for 203 yards. Truesdell, a 6-foot-7 senior, grabbed five passes for 129 yards.
