Springfield knocks off Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN - Megan Coulter led Springfield with 19 points - eight in the third quarter - in a 45-36 victory over Bowling Green last night in Northern Lakes League girls basketball.

Becca Kollar tallied 10 points for the Bobcats (4-10, 2-7 NLL).

Springfield (8-7, 4-5)

outrebounded Bowling Green 29-22.

Nicole Parrish topped Perrysburg (11-3, 8-1 NLL) with 13. Demi Moschetti added 12.

Caitlyn Theaker paced Maumee (0-14, 0-9) with 10.

BERLIN - Princeton outscored Central Catholic 31-18 in the second half.

Ariel Thomas scored 23 to lead Princeton (11-4).

Brianna Jones and Sharise Calhoun each scored 11 to pace the Irish (12-2).

Katie Jones scored 18 points, 12 in the final quarter as Gibsonburg (8-8) defeated host Ottawa Hills. Emily Clark added 17 and Lindsay Hill 11.

Lauren Abendroth led the Green Bears (7-7) with 17. Laura Brewster added 11 and Libby Overly 10.

PICKERINGTON, Ohio - Yolanda Richardson's 14 points and T.T. Arnold's 12 led Start over Eastlake North in the Pickerington Shootout.

Arnold and teammate Azia Bishop grabbed nine rebounds apiece.

The Rangers' Samantha Blazetic tallied 19 points.

Jenna Vermilya led host Southview (9-6) with 13 points with 11 coming in the fourth quarter.

Anne Yenrick paced Rossford with 11.

The Hawks outscored Betts-

ville 17-3 in the second quarter to pull away. The Bobcats are 1-12.

SHERWOOD - Fairview made 31 of 43 free throws to win in overtime. Defiance made 18 of 29

Lydia Baughman led the Apaches with 20 points. Katelyn Samples had 18. Kayla Bostater and Tina Schroeder scored 11 apiece.

Marissa MacDonald tallied 26 for the Bulldogs.

SWANTON 50, EASTWOOD 45

SWANTON - Swanton withstood a fourth-quarter rally to win as Paige Onweller scored 20 points and Ashlee Polkinghorn 15 for the Bulldogs (5-10).

Lisa Griffith netted 13 for Eastwood (2-12).

MONTPELIER 44, FAYETTE 29

FAYETTE - Tab Davis topped Montpelier with nine points.

Katelyn Downing had nine for Fayette.
