Nicole Lamb scored 13 points and Liz Speweik added 10 to help Cardinal Stritch clinch at least a share of the TAAC girls basketball championship with a 50-34 victory last night over visiting Northwood.

The Cardinals (13-5, 10-1) outscored the Rangers (6-11, 3-7) 25-15 in the second half to seal the victory.

Marissa Reighard led Northwood with 14 points.

In area boys action, Wauseon led by eight at the half and outscored Delta 16-5 in the third quarter to take command and down the Panthers 51-30.

Richard Russell led the Indians (12-4, 6-1 NWOAL) with 16 and Kevin Elson contributed 14, including nine in the pivotal third.

Eric Vaughan led Delta (6-10, 2-5) with 10 points.
