Fidler rushes for 6 TDs to propel Blue Streaks

ARCHBOLD Jacob Fidler rushed for six touchdowns and 268 yards on 22 carries as Archbold cruised to a 48-21 win over Evergreen last night in the Northwest Ohio Athletic League.

Fidler had TD runs of 37, 9, 4, 41, 24 and 9. Breon Price added a 50-yard TD run in the second quarter to give the Blue Streaks (4-0, 2-0) a 34-6 lead at the half.

Steve Creque led Evergreen (1-3, 1-2) with 85 yards on the ground on 17 carries. Jordan McCready added 77 rushing yards on 17 carries with TD runs of 4 and 8.

DELTA Colin Hughes rushed for TD runs of 21, 22 and 2 as Wauseon jumped out to a 26-0 lead.

Jeff Jasso added a 36-yard touchdown run for the Indians (2-2, 2-0) in the third quarter.

Korbin Smith led Delta (1-3, 0-3) with 62 yards on 14 carries and a two-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter. Brad Hayward also had 62 yards on 10 carries.

Wauseon totaled 356 yards (264 rushing) to Delta s 170 (164 rushing).

BRYAN Clint Detmer kicked a 36 yard game winning field goal in the closing seconds of the game.

John Weaver rushed for 65 yards and two touchdowns For Napoleon. Jason Brown added 75 yards and another touchdown for the Wildcats.

Cody Keil ran for a touchdown and threw another to Alex Nossaman to lead Bryan. Levi Fisher ran for the other Bryan touchdown.

MONTPELIER The Bulldogs snapped a 34-game NWOAL losing streak with a road victory.

Senior Tim Vannewhouse scored a pair of rushing touchdowns for Swanton, while junior Alex Maier threw two scoring strikes to fellow junior Louis Miller.

Austin Reiner recovered a Montpelier fumble in the end zone for the other touchdown for Swanton, now 1-3 overall and 1-2 in the league.

Montpelier fell to 0-4 and 0-3.
