L-B remains unbeaten in road victory

DOLA Liberty-Benton led 35-0 at the half and cruised to the 49-0 rout last night in the Blanchard Valley Conference.

The Eagles improved to 8-0, 7-0 with the victory.

Aaron Craft completed 5 of 7 passes, two of which went for touchdowns to Ryan Cook (93) and Justin Hyde (55). Cook caught three passes for 154 yards and hauled in another TD pass of 49 yards from Eric Pasche.

The Eagles' ground attack was represented by Wade Russell (67 yards on nine carries) and Jacob Miller (74 yards on six carries). Pasche completed all three of his pass attempts for 77 yards.

Hardin Northern (1-7, 1-6) was led by Chad Motter's 90 rushing yards on 29 carries.

LIMA Jason Brown scored three times to lead Napoleon in the come-from-behind win in the Greater Buckeye Conference.

Brown scored on runs of 4 and 54 and hauled in a 9-yard TD pass from Andrew Keller for the Wildcats (5-3, 3-0), who fell behind 17-0 after one quarter but clawed back with 21 unanswered points before halftime.

Chaz Foster had TD runs of 28, 19 and 9 for Lima Senior (2-6, 0-3).

DEFIANCE Sean Murray was 10-of-11 passing for 165 yards with 3 TDs for Defiance (6-2).

Travis Spitnale scored on an 18-yard pass from Murray and on a 15-yard run.

BELLEVUE Trevor Smith tallied three touchdowns on 15 and 13-yard runs and a 26-yard pass from Curtis Watson for Bellevue.

Dom DeBlase and Jeff Roth each scored two touchdowns for the Redmen, 7-1 overall and 4-1 in the Northern Ohio League.

Shelby drops to 5-3 and 3-2.

SHERWOOD James Elchinger accounted for 10 touchdowns to lead Fairview (7-1, 5-0 GMC).

Elchinger completed 14 of 20 passes for 484 yards with six TDs. He also rushed for 168 yards on 11 carries with 4 TDs.

Wayne Trace falls to 2-6, 1-4.

NORTH BALTIMORE J.J.Hrabak scored two touchdowns, one on an 80-yard run, and Dan Faber also scored twice for St. Wendelin.

Hraback rushed for 139 yards and Faber 127 yards for the Mohawks.

Randy Marine scored twice for North Baltimore, including a 39-yard pass from Cody Pelton.

TIFFIN Ethan Kagy was 7-of-10 passing for 156 yards with two touchdown passes, both to Derek Kneeskern, to lead Tiffin Columbian (6-2, 4-1 NOL).

Phil Chavez added 91 rushing yards on 15 carries for the Tornadoes, who scored 35 points in the second half. Chavez scored on runs of 7, 7 and 5 yards.

Norwalk (0-8, 0-5) finished with 131 total yards compared to Columbian's 349.
