Mules pile up 5 rushing TDs in Lincoln win

TEMPERANCE Bedford used a potent ground attack to defeat Ypsilanti Lincoln 37-6 last night in the Southeastern Conference.

Five different players ran for touchdowns as the Mules (4-3, 3-3) accounted for 397 yards on 42 carries. Bedford scored 23 points in the third quarter to break open a game it led 14-6 at halftime.

Nate Davis rolled up 111 yards on eight carries and scored on a one-yard run.

Davis was complemented by Joe Martin (79 yards on six carries) and T.J. Romijn

(96 yards on nine carries), who both scored touchdowns on the ground.

Lincoln falls to 1-6, 1-6.

BLISSFIELD Zach Waldvogel rushed for 114 yards on 17 carries to lead Blissfield (6-1, 4-1 LCAA) to the win, which qualified the Royals?? for the playoffs in Division 6.

Eric Schmidt was 5-of-6 passing for 104 yards with two touchdown passes for Blissfield. Nate Dumoulin added 79 yards on seven carries, including a one-yard TD run to open the scoring.

Erie Mason (1-6, 0-5) finished with 181 total yards (minus-4 rushing) to the Royals' 452 (344 rushing).

BRITTON Travis Pant scored four touchdowns and threw for another as Whiteford rolled.

Pant (119 yards on 20 carries) scored on runs of 18, 1, 9 and 1. He also completed 4 of 10 passes for 53 yards and hooked up with Will Frazier for a nine-yard TD.

Ben Frazier had 156 yards on 20 carries for Whiteford (3-4, 3-2). He also accounted for eight tackles.

Brandon Keller rushed for 88 yards on 13 carries and scored on a 48-yard run for Britton-Deerfield (1-6, 0-5). Keller also completed 3 of 8 passes for 60 yards, all of which went to Dan Stahl, including a 22-yard TD pass.

HUDSON Hudson scored two-point conversions on all three of its touchdowns which proved to be the difference.

Keith Walworth had touchdown runs of 8 and 79 yards, and Kyle Benschoter scored the game's final TD on a two-yard run. Benschoter was also responsible for two of Hudson's conversions. Hudson (5-2, 3-2 LCAA) rolled up 375 yards on 50 carries.

Ida's Nick Jobe completed 8 of 11 passes for 85 yards and a 34-yard TD to Trevor McBee. Paul Galloro (83 yards on eight carries) had a five-yard TD run for Ida (4-3, 2-3). Ida led 21-16 entering the fourth quarter.
