Kraus sets Findlay record

FINDLAY - Luke Kraus scored 33 points to lead Findlay to a 75-53 boys basketball victory Saturday night over Rogers and become the all-time leading scorer in school history.

Kraus has 1,107 points, breaking the mark of 1,095 by Ben Roethlisberger, currently the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback.

Kevin Krucki added 12 points and Jeff Cole 11 for the Trojans (4-0).

Dalante Heard led Rogers (4-1) with 13 points, and Damon Powell chipped in with 11.

Woodward went on a 12-2 run in the second quarter and went on to gain its first victory.

Antonia Dinkins led the host Polar Bears (1-4) with 22 points. Ray Hooker added 17 points.

Kellie Davis led FCI Academy with 13.

SPRINGFIELD 71, ROSSFORD 68

Tyler Lieber sank the game-winning 3-pointer at the buzzer to give Springfield a win and hand visiting Rossford its first loss of the season.

After Tommy Kralovic scored for Rossford to tie the game at 68 with 6.8 seconds to play, Lieber took the inbounds pass, drove the length of the floor and knocked down a shot from the left arc.

Lieber finished with 24 points, Chester McFadden added 18 and Victor Hunt 15 for the Blue Devils (3-2, 2-2 NLL).

Zach Leahy led the Bulldogs (4-1, 2-1) with 22 points, and Kralovic had 16.

SOUTHVIEW 72, NORTHVIEW 51

Tim Hausfeld knocked down four 3-pointers en route to scoring 30 points to lead visiting Southview.

Andy Borcherdt added 15 points and Allen Gant 10 for the Cougars (5-1, 4-0).

Ryan Yockey had 20 points for Northview (2-3, 1-3), while Stephen Vizina chipped in with 12.

David Hieber tallied 33 points as Perrysburg improved to 5-0.

Cam Walton led host Anthony Wayne (0-5) with 11 points. Brad Celusta added 10.

BEDFORD 71, AIRPORT 69

TEMPERANCE, Mich. - Ricky Rightnowar poured in a career-high 34 points on 14-of-22 shooting to go with his seven rebounds for Bedford (2-0).

Tyler Shock added 17 points and eight rebounds, while Matt Lazette chipped in with 13 points.

Dan Jones led Airport (1-2) with 25 points, and Tyler Pluff and Ronnie McCormick had 11 apiece.

PORT CLINTON - Cory Brown hit four 3-pointers as Port Clinton drained 10 shots from beyond the arc.

Brown finished with 16 points, and Ryan Hicks had 13.

The Redskins (2-3, 2-0 SBC) lead 18-2 after one quarter and 45-8 at halftime.

Eric Barker led Oak Harbor (2-3, 0-2) with 10 points.

TIFFIN - Chase Drewes scored 36 points and Mason Roth added 16 for the Panthers.

Landon Warnement led Calvert (3-3) with 13 points.

VANLUE - Jordan Look scored 18 points, Jonathan Kloepfer added 15 and Chase Kloeppel 12 for Vanlue (2-3).

Quinn Noel and Kevin Eibner led Fostoria St. Wendelin (2-4) with 15 points apiece, and Lucas Holman had 11.

Devin Russell posted a double-double to lead the host Spartans, finishing with 23 points and 16 rebounds.

Anthony Henderson added 20 points and Marcus Gains 12 for Start (4-2).

Stephen Carnicorn led the Little Giants with 20 points. Shunnar Gamble added 17 and Marc Bolen 10.

DELTA - Hilltop outscored Delta 20-11 in the third quarter.

Chad Beals led the Cadets with 17 points. Nick Smith added 11 points and Logan Mercer grabbed 13 rebounds.
