DuPree leads Bobcats' rout at Warrior Classic

Jake DuPree scored 21 points as Whiteford rolled over tournament host Emmanuel Christian 70-39 last night at the Warrior Classic.

The Bobcats (2-1) finished 30-of-39 shooting and will meet Bowsher in the final tomorrow at 7:30.

Travis Pant added 17 points and Jake Ritzenthaler had 10 for Whiteford.

Caleb Smith led the Warriors (1-3) with 14 points, while Stephen and Tony Behan chipped in with 11 and 10, respectively.

BOWSHER 72,

LENAWEE CHRISTIAN 53

Bowsher cruised in the opening game of the Warrior Classic and handed Lenawee Christian its first loss of the season.

T.J. Anderson led the Rebels (2-3) with 33 points. Robert Davis added 22 and Austin Boiselle 10.

Kerry Sebby led Lenawee with 17 points. John Morrison pitched in 11.

Bowsher made eight 3-pointers and went 12-of-19 from the line. Lenawee Christian was 6-of-12 from the free-throw line.

Lenawee Christian will play Emmanuel Christian at 5 tomorrow in the consolation game of the tournament.

IDA 71, HOMER 54

STOCKBRIDGE, Mich. - Nic Jobe had a double-double to lead Ida in the Stockbridge tournament.

Ida led by eight at the half and continued to extend it's lead throughout the second half.

Jobe finished the game with 17 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists.

Jared Janssen added 10 points for the Bluestreaks (5-0).

Tayler Dow paced Homer (1-3) with 16 points, and Wade Bradock had 11.
