Patrick Henry gets win at Ottawa Hills

Emily McGraw was the lone player in double figures, but it was still enough to hand Patrick Henry a 42-34 win over Ottawa Hills Monday night in girls basketball.

Ashley Christman and McGraw (10 points) each hit a pair of 3-pointers in the final minutes of the second quarter to give the Patriots a 23-16 halftime advantage, one the host Green Bears could never recover from.

McGraw finished with 10 points for Patrick Henry (7-10).

Lauren Abendroth and Katherine Jamieson had 11 points apiece for the Green Bears (12-4).

ST. URSULA 56, EASTWOOD 48

PEMBERVILLE - St. Ursula made all four of its 3-point attempts in the second quarter to lead 28-22 at halftime. Holly Lorton and Morgan Bechtel each had 10 points for the Arrows.

Brooke Albright scored 14 and Brooke Gottfried 10 for Eastwood.

SWANTON 43, CARDINAL STRITCH 42

Ashlee Polkinghorn hit two free throws with 3.1 seconds left to hand Swanton (6-11) the road win.

Polkinghorn and Danielle Bezeau finished with 14 points apiece.

Liz Speweik had 15 points for the Cardinals (9-8).

OTSEGO 56, NORTHWOOD 34

The visiting Knights pulled away from Northwood in the second quarter, outscoring the Rangers 22-9, to lead 33-15 at the half and cruise in the second half.

Ashley Holzwart had 17 points for Otsego, and Baley Bernthisel chipped in with 11 points.

Rema Abdelhoq led the Rangers with 11 points, hitting three 3-pointers.

WAUSEON 63, AYERSVILLE 44

AYERSVILLE - Wauseon led 39-14 at halftime in the rout.

Taylor Creager hit three 3-pointers to finish with 23 points for Wauseon.

Kim Comden and Kalyssa Bauman led the Pilots with 12 points apiece.

EVERGREEN 54, FAYETTE 16

METAMORA - Taylor Langenderfer scored 22 points and Kenzie Pinkelman 12 to lead Evergreen (12-4), which roared off to a 12-0 first-quarter lead.

PETTISVILLE 52, HILLTOP 21

WEST UNITY - Katie Weber scored 10 points to lead Pettisville (15-2), which had nine players in the scoring column.

Kate Burkholder led Hilltop with 12.

MCCOMB 51, MOHAWK 41

SYCAMORE - Shelby Wilson was 8-for-8 at the free throw line as McComb broke open a close game with a decisive 15-6 fourth quarter. Wilson had 21 points to lead all scorers and teammate Samantha Bryan added 17 points and 13 rebounds.

The Panthers finished (9-9) 14-for-17 at the line.

Jackie Messersmith with 18 points and seven rebounds led Mohawk (8-7), while Bridget Wagner chipped in with 10.

MAUMEE VALLEY 39,

NORTH CENTRAL 35

PIONEER - Kristin Bigelow had 17 points, and Genna Danes 10 to lead the Hawks (3-14) to the road win. Leah Sellers and Natalie Stahl each had eight for the winless Eagles (0-14).

ELMORE - Gibsonburg rolled to a 16-6 first-quarter lead, with Tony Egbert scoring nine of his team-leading 24 points in the opening period.

Lee Renner added 12 for the Golden Bears. Chris Jacobson led Woodmore with 17.

LAKOTA 67, OLD FORT 55

OLD FORT - Jacob Smith poured in 26 points in the first half and finished with 33 to lead Lakota.

The Raiders held a 43-28 halftime advantage. Roman Ream (17 points) and Jarod McKeen (10 points) paced Old Fort.

ANN ARBOR GREENHILLS 71

OTTAWA LAKE, Mich. - Jake DuPree poured in 28 points and grabbed nine rebounds, Brandon Albright had 18 points and 10 rebounds and Travis Pant also scored 18 to lead Whiteford to the overtime win.

Chris Roberts chipped in with 12 points for the Bobcats (11-3).
