Bedford girls remain unbeaten

ANN ARBOR - Bedford's girls fought off a persistent Ann Arbor Huron team Friday night to keep their record unblemished with a 45-42 basketball victory Friday night.

Amelia Davis scored 18 points, including three 3-pointers, and Kaylee Foster added 15 as the Mules (17-0, 13-0) topped their Southeastern Confernce rival.

Bedford held Huron to just five points in the third quarter to lead 34-26, but the River Rats fought back in the fourth to put the game within three. Tyler Hardy led the River Rats with 17, while Charlise Slater chipped in 11.

A.J. Mathew scored 23 points and Jalen Bouma added 17 for Huron (13-2, 9-2 SEC) in a 67-39 victory over Bedford Friday night.

Ricky Rightnowar tossed in 18 points for the Mules (7-7, 5-5) at home.
