Kraus scores 20 as Findlay tops Napoleon

Luke Kraus dropped in 20 points and Matt Strzempka added 11 as Findlay defeated Napoleon 59-33 last night in the Greater Buckeye Conference.

The Trojans (11-4) turned up the heat in the second half, outscoring the Wildcats 32-14.

Lee Hunter led Napoleon (13-4) with 11 points.

Liberty-Benton 60, McComb 53

FINDLAY - Aaron Craft scored 12 of his game-high 25 points in the final quarter to help the Eagles hold off the Panthers.

Derek Recker and Brett Pasche provided support by scoring 12 and 10 points, respectively, for Liberty-Benton (14-1, 7-0 BVC).

Roth Mason led McComb (14-3, 6-2) with 13 points and Chase Drewes added 12 in a game the Panthers were seeking to win to pull into a tie for first place with the Eagles.

Fremont Ross 62, Sandusky 48

FREMONT - Four Ross players scored in double figures, headed by Kenny Penn's 13 points.

Shunnar Gamble added 12 and Marc Bolen and Andrew House 10 apiece for the Little Giants (8-8, 4-4 GBC).

Jarrod Williams paced Sandusky (2-14, 0-8) with 11 points and Dominique Stovall added 10.

Port Clinton 65, Perkins 60

PORT CLINTON - Ryan Hicks, Allen Tigner, Josh Francis and Derek Colston combined for 59 points to lead Port Clinton. Shon Alexander was lead scorer for Perkins with 24 points. David Schaefer added 18.

MONROE - St. Mary's trailed by five at the half but put

together a strong 27-16 finish in the final two periods.

Keenan Wetzel with 14, Alex Johnson with 11 and Chip Montgomery with 10 led SMCC, which was 10-of-13 from the line in the final period. Dwain Brown of Jefferson led all scorers with 17.

Monclova 67,

Temple 43

LIMA - Andrew Dibert and Jordan McCloud scored 12 and 11 points, respectively, to lead Monclova Christian. Tyler Sutten scored 26 points for Temple Christian.

NORWALK - Derek Kneeskern led the Tornadoes (11-5) with 16 points.
