Meis paces Genoa win

Alyssa Meis scored 19 points to lead Genoa to a 68- 53 Suburban Lakes League girls basketball victory over Lakota Saturday.

Julie Swartzmiller tallied 17, Simone Eli added 13 and Jessica Feller had 10 for Genoa (16-4, 11-3).

Kaela Wiseman scored 20 points, including four 3-pointers, for the Raiders (1-19, 0-14).

OTTAWA HILLS 45, SWANTON 33

SWANTON Lauren Abendroth and Katherine Jamieson scored 14 points apiece to help Ottawa Hills finish 16-4.

Danielle Bezeau led Swanton (6-14) with 13 points and Paige Onweller had 11, including three 3-pointers.

BRYAN 40, LIBERTY CENTER 34

BRYAN Brigitte Kuszmaul scored 12 points to lead Bryan over Liberty Center as the Golden Bears finished 10-10, 5-3 in the NWOAL. Chelsea Meister scored 10 for the Tigers (12-8, 5-3).

EVERGREEN 66, DELTA 36

DELTA Evergreen raced off to a 20-2 lead after one quarter. Lauren Langenderfer scored 15, Taylor Langenderfer 14 and Kenzie Pinkelman 12 for the winners.

Kathleen Przeslawski of Delta led all scorers with 16.

MARGARETTA 47, OAK HARBOR 40

OAK HARBOR Brittany Morris led the Polar Bears with 19 points and Jessica Meyer chipped in with 10. Abby Zurvalec had 10 for Oak Harbor.

TEMPLE CHRISTIAN 47, EMMANUEL CHRISTIAN 32

MANSFIELD Lacey Anagnostu and Sarah Perkins each scored seven points as Emmanuel Christian closed its season at 4-16. Joannah Strecher led Temple Christian (14-7) with 20 points.
