BOWLING GREEN - Toledo Christian found its groove on offense in its Division IV sectional title game while fellow Toledo Area Athletic Conference member Cardinal Stritch struggled to score Friday night.

The Eagles beat North Baltimore 80-38 while the Cardinals fell to Van Buren 66-44.

Toledo Christian took a commanding 29-5 lead through the first quarter and just continued to extend its lead, outscoring North Baltimore 17-10 in the second, 22-15 in the third and 12-8 in the fourth.

Ethan Michael led the Eagles with 24 points while Grant Sims added 16 and Brad Fox scored 12.

Chris Casey was the top scorer for North Baltimore with 11.

Cardinal Stritch was held to just two points in the first quarter, falling behind 14-2. The Cardinals battled back to narrowly lose the second quarter 19-16 and managed to outscore Van Buren 15-12 in the fourth, but it wasn't enough to mount a comeback.

Will Kamelesky led the Cardinals with nine points.

Michael Ryder had 22 for Van Buren.

OTTAWA - Kevin Westengarger led McComb with 15 points and Mason Roth added 13.

Cody Vennekotter scored 12 for Miller City and Kyle Niese added 10.

McComb was 13-of-22 from the free throw line while Miller City was 7-of-20.

STRYKER 73,

NORTH CENTRAL 65

BRYAN - The Stryker trio of Zach Erb, Hayden Doehrmann and Jordan Jaggers scored 21, 20 and 20 points, respectively.

Anthony Kidston scored 22 for North Central.

PETTISVILLE 61, HILLTOP 30

BRYAN - Michael Deffely scored 18 points and Jordan Klopfenstein had 14 for Pettisville.

HOPEWELL-LOUDON 52

FOSTORIA - Dustin Kinn scored 13 points and Lee Kelbley added 11 to pace New Riegel, which hit 14 of 20 free throws to Hopewell-Loudon's 2-of-6.

Tyler Brown led H-L with 15 points.

ST. WENDELIN 28

FOSTORIA - Michael Dennis scored 16 points and Brock Tong added 14 for Carey. Brian Ward had 12 for Fostoria St. Wendelin.
