Ottawa Hills Dixon runner-up in vault at state championships

HILLIARD, Ohio Karla Dixon of Ottawa Hills finished as state runner-up Saturday in the vault at the state gymnastics championships.

Dixon had a score of 9.275 in the vault. Rocky River Magnifi cat s Kelly Nortz bested the field with a 9.300.
