Eastwood, Genoa each improve records to 3-0

PEMBERVILLE - Clay Rolf and Cody Seifert each scored a pair of touchdowns to lead Eastwood to a 41-14 victory Friday night over Oak Harbor.

Rolf scored on runs of 23 and 60 yards and finished with 87 yards on just three carries. Seifert added a TD run of five yards and caught a 39-yard scoring strike from Kyle Dierker. Seifert finished with 112 rushing yards on 15 attempts.

Matt Pickerel added a 67-yard scoring run and finished with a game-high 131 yards on just four carries as the Eagles ran for 386 yards on 35 carries.

Taylor Depew added field goals of 37 and 27 yards for Eastwood (3-0).

Oak Harbor's touchdowns came on a 2-yard pass from Mike Mallernee to Zack Priesman and a 17-yard run by Matt Klippstein. The Rockets are 1-2.

Genoa 62, Port Clinton 7

PORT CLINTON - Connor Wendt scored four touchdowns and Genoa rolled up 568 offensive yards in a game of unbeatens.

Wendt caught just two passes but they went for touchdowns of 71 and 99 yards. Wendt also added scores on a 44-yard punt return and a 33-yard run.

Matthew Bassitt completed 6 of 12 passes for 266 yards and three touchdowns, including two to Wendt and one to Derek Allgier of seven yards.

Tyler Pickard led the Comets (3-0) on the ground with 83 yards on 11 rushing attempts.

Greg Hillabrand, Alex Eckel, Pickard and Zach Lopez also had rushing touchdowns for Genoa.

Elmwood 14, North Baltimore 6

BLOOMDALE - Adam Tyson caught a 15-yard scoring pass from Reid Rothenbuhler with 3:20 left in the game to lift the Royals (1-2).

Rothenbuhler also threw a 30-yard scoring strike to Jay Hannah.

Rothenbuhler completed 26 of 40 passes for 316 yards. Tyson caught 12 passes for 139 yards.

Michael South scored on a two-yard run for North Baltimore (2-1).
