TAAC boys: Toledo Christian rolls as Weemes scores 27

MARBLEHEAD - Jeremy Weemes, scoring 27 points on 11 field goals and five foul shots, helped drive Toledo Christian over Danbury 68-51.

Weemes' teammate Zach Brumbaugh, scoring 14 points, hit four 3-pointers.

Rodney Johnson of Danbury scored 17 points with seven rebounds, and Tyler Boring scored 11 points and had five rebounds.

Toledo Christian is 4-4, 3-1, and Danbury falls to 6-3, 3-1.

Maumee Valley put 10 players in the scoring column as it took a commanding 39-8 lead at the end of the first half.

Henry Beausejour led the Hawks (6-4, 2-2) with 14 points.

Davy Brown had 10. Ryan Cannaday scored 10 for Northwood (3-7, 2-3).
