Davis has 32 to lead Bowsher over Clay

Robert Davis poured in 32 points to lead Bowsher to an 84-51 home victory over Clay Friday night in City League boys basketball.

Justin Neptune finished with 16 points, connecting on four 3-pointers for the Rams (5-7, 2-5 CL).

Taylor Schabel led Clay (1-6, 3-9) with 12 points.

Scott 86, Woodward 53

Dontonio Kynard led the Bulldogs (3-9, 2-5 CL) with 22 points. Dashawn Lee added 17, Donovan McClain 13 and Austen Alabata 11.

Scott broke out to a 25-11 lead after one quarter.

Ray Hooker tossed in 21 points for the Polar Bears (2-10, 0-7). Brandon Wyatt chipped in with 16.

Anthony Henderson hit a 3-point shot with three seconds left to lift Start.

Central Catholic's Drew Lehman had scored with 30 seconds to go to tie the game.

Henderson finished with 23 points for the Spartans (6-7, 3-5). Jeff Copeland had 11.

Nate Hobbs paced the Irish (9-2, 4-2) with 16 points. Lehman had 11.

St. Francis 60, Waite 45

Storm Stanley and Brandon Focht helped St. Francis de Sales explode for 23 points in the third quarter en route to a win.

Stanley had 11 of his 21 points in that quarter, and Focht, who finished with 10, got the Knights (9-4, 5-2 CL) going early in the second half with a pair of 3-pointers.

Waite, paced by Henry Newson's 11 points, led 19-18 at the break on a basket at the buzzer.

Ke-Sean Harris chipped in 10 points for the Indians (7-6, 3-4).
