BOWLING GREEN — Archbold lost to Plymouth 42-37 in its Division III boys basketball regional semifinal at BGSU's Anderson Arena Wednesday night.

Despite a poor shooting night that saw the Blue Streaks make just 8 of their 26 shots from the field after the first quarter, Archbold had a 36-33 lead with 4:15 to play.

But Archbold only scored one point after that, while the Big Red rattled off nine points to claim the victory.

Plymouth, ranked fourth in the state in Division III, advanced to Saturday's regional final against Lima Central Catholic.

Telly Fricke scored 13 points to lead Archbold, which finished its season 19-5.

Brook Turson had 23 points and Brandon McCalley added 13 points and 12 rebounds for Plymouth (24-0).
