Lexi Lopez scored 19 points to lead the Cougars in their opening game to a Northern Lakes League girls basketball victory.

Breauna Nix had 14 points and Ciara Ruiz 10 for Springfield (1-2, 0-1 NLL).

Rossford 53, Maumee 39

At Rossford, the Bulldogs broke out to an early 13-6 edge and coasted to victory.

Abbey Geraghty led Rossford with 19 points while Courtney Trenchik provided 13.

Eliza Theaker paced the Panthers with 13 points and Katie Butler contributed 10.

Perrysburg 50, Bowling Green 34

Emily Treece, Nicole Delas and Karla Vandervlucht each scored 10 points to lead Perrysburg.

Hayley Williford led BG with nine.

Northview 65, Anthony Wayne 47

Miriam Justinger tossed in a game-high 21 points to lead the Wildcats.

Skylar Rose added 13 points for Northview.

Emma Ricketts and Aubrie Krest scored 12 and 10 points, respectively, to lead AW.

Genoa 56, Eastwood 47

EASTWOOD -- The Comets broke out to a 19-9 first quarter edge.

Emily Mock and Jessica Feller each scored 11 points and Julie Swartzmiller 10 for Genoa.

Alanna Heestand totaled a game-high 17 points for the Eagles.

TONTOGANY -- Chelsea Garver led the Wildcats with 11 points. Micavla Murphy had 13 for the Knights.

Maumee Valley 43, Ann Arbor Greenhills 39

Kristin Bigelow tallied 24 points and Genna Danes added 15 with 16 rebounds to lead the Hawks.

Rachael Darrabie and jackie Oestretch each had 12 for Ann Arbor Greenhills.

DELTA -- The Patriots behind Kelsey Tietje's 18 points get a road win.

Kathleen Pizeslavski had 25 for the Panthers.

Montpelier 53, Swanton 46

SWANTON -- Kaitlyn Schmitt scored 19 of her game-high 25 points after halftime to lead the Locomotives in a double-overtime thriller.

Lauren Dye added 14 for Montpelier, which pulled away from Swanton in the second extra period.

Bethann Lumbrezer led Swanton with 13 points while Kendra Eitniear and Courtney Eitniear finished with 12 and 11 points, respectively.

Pettisville 57, Fayette 35

FAYETTE -- Lauren Frey scored 10 points while Katie Yoder chipped in with nine for Pettisville.

Leah Brinegar paced Fayette with 10 points.

Findlay 46, Lima Senior 44

LIMA -- Danielle Sallisbury tallied 12 points to lead Findlay to victory.

Dionna Hurley led the Spartans with a 10.
