AREA BOYS: Keefer lifts Fayette over Edon; N'Douba tallies 25 for Thunder

FAYETTE — Tyler Keefer made a free throw with 2.2 seconds to play to lift Fayette Friday night in Buckeye Border Conference boys basketball.

Keefer scored 18 points to pace the Eagles, while Trevor Cox added 14.

Edon was led by Keegan Long's 15 points. Brien Moore added 14 and Ryan Wells 12.

The host Thunder (8-4) used a 24-3 second-quarter advantage to roll.

Kenny N'Douba led the Thunder with 25 points. Zach Black scored 14, and Cody Harris added 10.

Daniel Ellerbrock paced State Line with 14 points.

FINDLAY — C.J. Gettys tossed in 27 points and Grant Birchmeier added 17 for Findlay (12-1, 6-0 Greater Buckeye Conference).

Shaquille Smith led Harding (3-9, 0-5) with 16 points.

VANLUE — Vanlue outscored Van Buren 25-15 in the decisive final quarter.

Zach Garber led Vanlue (12-2, 4-2 Blanchard Valley Conference) with 21 points and 11 rebounds. Dillon Kliesch hit six of Vanlue's seven 3-pointers and finished with 19 points, while Jonathan Kloepfer posted 14 points and 10 rebounds.

Rich Meyer had 16 points and 12 rebounds for Van Buren (8-6, 3-3). Drew Ashcroft added 11 points, and Clay Sudlow dropped in 10 points.

PETTISVILLE — Taylor Short scored 21 points, Aaron King added 13, and Jacob Rupp had 12 points for Pettisville.
