NWOAL BOYS: PH tops Montpelier in OT; Evergreen holds off Swanton

HAMLER -- Patrick Henry prevailed by outscoring Montpelier 6-2 in overtime Friday night in Northwest Ohio Athletic League boys basketball.

Kent Tietje led the Patriots (8-4, 3-2) with 13 points, while Zach Klein chipped in with 12.

Chris Hephner had 13 points for Montpelier (2-12, 0-5).

METAMORA -- Clayton Wielinski was four-for-four at the free throw-line in the closing minutes to give Evergreen the lead after the two teams were tied at 45.

Lucas Pennington scored 16 points and Wielinski 12 for Evergreen (9-3, 3-2 NWOAL).

Shane Bloom led Swanton (3-10, 0-6) with 18 and Travis Hilton added 14.

WAUSEON--The Blue Streaks ran their record to 15-1 overall, 6-0 NWOAL.

Zeb Frank led a balanced attack for Archbold with 13 points. Garrett Morton added 12, Luke Kammeyer 11 and Telly Fricke 10.

For Wauseon (5-8, 2-3), Collin Bzovi and Wade Wooley each scored 10 points.

BRYAN -- Jacob Parker dropped in 20 points to lead Bryan (8-7, 4-2).

Blake Green and Drew Salsbury had 18 and 10 points, respectively, for Delta (8-4, 3-2).
