CITY LEAGUE

Rogers 86, Woodward 63

Clemmye Owens led the host Rams with 18 points, while Tribune Dailey added 17 points and nine rebounds Friday night in City League boys basketball.

Devonte Pratt had 11 points and D.J. Tucker 10 rebounds for Rogers (8-3, 6-1 CL).

The Polar Bears (2-10, 0-7) were headed by Jalen Wells' 17 points.

Demarcus Smith scored 13, Delano McCabe 12, and Derek Ramsey 10.

Start 81, Waite 49

The host Spartans (8-4, 4-3 CL) were led by Dion Ivery with 16 points.

James Grays and Demond Crisp each added 12 and Scott Hicks tallied 10.

DeVonte Hughes paced the Indians (1-12, 1-6) with 18 points. Aaron Riley chipped in 10.

THREE RIVERS ATHLETIC CONFERENCE

St. John's 54, Fremont Ross 50

FREMONT -- Marc Loving hit a shot with 20 seconds left to put the Titans ahead 52-50, and Tarvis Malone sealed the Three Rivers Athletic Conference boys basketball win with two free throws in the final second.

Loving, a junior, finished with 19 points and has 1,013 for his career for the Titans (11-3, 7-2 TRAC).

D.J. Bonds added 16 points for St. John's, which trailed 27-22 at half, but tied it at 40 after three quarters.

Diante Pettiford, Jay Carnicom, and Nick Streacker each scored 13 for Ross (6-7, 4-5).

Central Catholic 65, St. Francis 28

Keith Trowbridge led the Irish (11-3, 7-2) at home with 16 points and Nate Harris had 13.

Cameron White had 11 for St. Francis de Sales (1-12, 1-8 TRAC).

Lima Senior 85, Oregon Clay 75

LIMA -- Tyler White scored 22 points at the Spartans (3-9, 2-6) pulled away in the fourth quarter. Domonique Ward added 16.

Clay, which trailed just 58-57 after three quarters, got 16 points from Patricc Booth, and 15 from Jack Nagy.

Ross Achter added 14. Derek Belkover and James Demeo each had 11.

TOLEDO AREA ATHLETIC CONFERENCE

Toledo Christian 67, Northwood 27

The visiting Eagles opened up the game with a 23-6 first-quarter run, and rolled to a victory Friday night in Toledo Area Athletic Conference boys basketball.

Josh Winzeler led Toledo Christian (7-4, 4-3 TAAC) with 20 points.

The Eagles got 14 from Dominique Pittman and 10 from Craig Bridgeman.

Evan Perkins paced the Rangers (2-11, 1-6) with 13.

Gibsonburg 82, Emmanuel Christian 53

GIBSONBURG -- A 14-3 second-quarter surge led the Golden Bears (11-1, 7-0 TAAC) to a 35-18 lead at the break.

Gage Beaber paced Gibsonburg with 20 points and 11 assists.

Dylan Dorfmeyer scored 19 and Nate Yarborogh added 17.

The Warriors (6-6, 4-3) were led by Leland Snyder with 15 and Ryan Creech 12.

Ottawa Hills 56, Danbury 35

Geoffrey Beans scored 14 points, A.J. King added 11 for Ottawa Hills (4-6, 3-4).

Caleb Helline led Danbury (0-11, 0-7) with 13.

AREA BOYS

Liberty-Benton 49, McComb 36

McCOMB -- Coach Steve Williman gained his 500th career victory Friday night as the Eagles rolled in a Blanchard Valley Conference boys basketball game.

Williman's record is 500-200, including a 465-128 mark at Liberty-Benton (9-3).

Ryan Geise led the Eagles with 17, while Mitch Linhart added 10.

Austan Westenbarger topped the Panthers (7-5) with 11.

Edgerton 45, Holgate 34

HOLGATE -- Ben Riehle scored 14 points to help the Bulldogs rally in a Green Meadows Conference game.

Edgerton (12-0, 4-0 GMC) trailed 14-11 at half, but went 11-of-15 from the field in the second half.

Ryan Aelker scored 13 points to lead Holgate (8-6, 3-1).

Pettisville 59, North Central 39

PIONEER -- David Reyes scored 17 points, Aaron King 13, and Zach Pursel 10 for visiting Pettisville (8-4, 6-0).

NORTHERN LAKES LEAGUE

Perrysburg 69, Bowling Green 37

Shane Edwards scored 23 points and Scott Milne 13 for the as the host Yellow Jackets coasted to a victory Friday night in Northern Lakes League boys basketball.

Jake Pfleghaar had 11 rebounds and five assists for Perrysburg (8-5, 7-3 NLL).

Vitto Brown led the Bobcats (8-5, 6-4.

Anthony Wayne 55, Northview 46

The Generals won at home as Mark Donnal scored 21 points, Matt Fox 18 and Grant Fiock 10.

Anthony Wayne (10-4, 7-3 NLL) broke out early to a 13-5 advantage in the opening quarter and led 21-12 at halftime.

The Wildcats (3-11, 1-9) were paced by Connor Hartnett's 17 points, James Ricicot chipped in with 14.

Southview 61, Springfield 39

Joey Vermilya scored 17 points and Jordon Hunt had 11 for host Southview (6-8, 4-6 NLL).

Jordon Drake's 8 points led Springfield (4-10, 1-9).

The Cougars led 18-11 after the first quarter and pushed the lead to 37-21 at halfitime.

Napoleon 56, Maumee 26

NAPOLEON -- The Wildcats (11-3, 9-1) held the Panthers to seven points in the first half, including a shutout in the second quarter.

Jordan Lauf pumped in 23 points for Napoleon. Fulton Lankenau and Jordan Myles had 11 each.

Jason Wanamaker had nine points to pace the Panthers (7-8, 5-5).

NORTHWEST OHIO ATHLETIC LEAGUE

Archbold 39, Wauseon 34

ARCHBOLD -- Tyson Dietrich scored 10 of his game-high 18 points in the fourth quarter as the Blue Streaks rallied to win in a key battle in Northwest Ohio Athletic League boys basketball.

The victory keeps Archbold (11-4, 5-0 NWOAL) in a tie for first place with Delta.

Alex Woten had 16 for the Indians (11-2, 4-1) while Wade Wooley had 10.

The Streaks led 9-8 after the first quarter, but Wauseon led 19-17 at halftime and 26-22 after three quarters.

Delta 52, Bryan 44

DELTA -- The Panthers (9-3, 5-0) got 15 points from Blake Green, 13 from Scott Garlinger, and 11 from Micah Mohr to pick up the win.

Aaron Bruot led the Golden Bears (4-9, 3-3) with 14, Austin Schimmoeller had 13, and Adam McBride 10.

Evergreen 59, Swanton 51

SWANTON -- Evergreen's Matt Brighton scored 20 for the Vikings (2-11, 1-3).

Chad Mossing contributed 12 and Clayton Wielinski 10 for Evergreen.

Travis Hilton led Swanton 1-5, 6-7) with 15 points.

Patrick Henry 57, Montpelier 33

MONTPELIER -- Kodi Nofziger scored 14 points, Kolby Seemann had 12, and Shane Bostelman 10 for Patrick Henry (7-5, 3-2).

T. J. Reeder led Montpelier (3-10, 0-5) with 12 points.

SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN

Ann Arbor Pioneer 74, Bedford 69

ANN ARBOR -- The Mules roared back from a 16-point deficit after three quarters, but lost Friday night in double overtime in Southeastern Conference boys basketball.

Jackson Lamb had a stellar night for Bedford (7-3, 3-1 SEC), scoring 26 points and grabbing 17 rebounds. Ryan Rightnowar contributed 24 points. Kenny McFadden added 10.

The Mules converted 32 of 45 free throws Pioneer's 14 of 25.

Jimmy Holman fired in 24 points and Ethan Spencer 13 for Pioneer (7-4, 3-1).

Pioneer jumped out toa 12-9 lead after the first quarter and stretched it to 29-14 at halfitme and 45-29 after three quartes.

But Bedford outscored the Pioneers 31-16 in the fourth quarter to send the game to overtime. Each team scored four points in the first OT period.
