Bedford's Czesak, Prajzner lead football all-stars

  • CARLETON, Mich. -- Bedford's Aaron Czesak and Jonathan Prajzner will lead the South team against the North in the 2012 Monroe County All-Star football game on Friday night at Airport High.

    Czesak, a 6-foot-1, 200-pounder, scored 15 touchdowns and gained 1,041 yards on 172 carries to lead the Mules to a 7-4 record and the Division I district finals. Prajzner, a 6-1, 200-pounder, accounted for 876 yards on 150 carries and scored 10 touchdowns during his senior season.

    Other area notables expected to play in the contest for recent graduates include, Erie Mason's Tyler Bitz (6-6, 192, QB), Whiteford's Jim Bunge (5-8, 150, WR) and Monroe's Alec Swindeman (6-0, 185, RB-DB).

    Mason coach Mike Duffey will coach the South and New Boston Huron coach Dan Kalbfleish will coach the North.

    Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
