GIBSONBURG — Isiah Arriaga caught a three-yard touchdown pass from Matt Tille midway through the first quarter, and that lead held up Friday night in a Toledo Area Athletic Conference defensive struggle.

Gibsonburg (2-5, 2-2 TAAC) finished with 170 total yards. Tille gained 95 yards rushing on 31 carries, and completed 5 of 13 passes for 61 yards.

Toledo Christian (4-3, 3-1) finished with 48 yards total offense.

Northwood 59, Danbury 0

Brandon Kretz and Dominik Bermejo scored two touchdowns apiece during a 34-point first quarter as the Rangers rolled at home.

Bermejo scored on a 12- and 38-yard runs early, then on an eight-yard TD pass from Nick Russell. Kretz scored on a 35-yard pass from Russell and an interception return. Anthony Prothero added one- and 19-yard TD runs.

Evan Perkins and Michael Vallejo also found the end zone for the Rangers (7-0, 4-0 TAAC), who ran for 238 yards on 26 attempts. They had 329 total yards. Danbury (2-5, 1-3) had 78 yards on offense.

Ottawa Hills 48, Cardinal Stritch14

Will Longthorne accounted for four TDs as the Green Bears won at home. Longthorne caught touchdown passes of 39 and 59 yards and ran for 88 yards and two TDs to lead Ottawa Hills (5-2, 4-0).

Jon Rodriguez completed 3 of 6 passes for 110 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for a one-yard score. Judah Wollenburg also added a pair of TDs for the Green Bears. Zach Demony led the Cardinals (1-6, 0-4) with 18 carries for 102 yards and a TD.

Edon 50, Hilltop 7

EDON — Connor Hug rushed for 94 yards and five touchdowns for Edon (4-3, 2-2). Hug scored on runs from 3, 1, 28, 9, and 26 yards.

Kaden Sapp threw a TD pass to Brock Thiel, and Wyatt Walkowski scored on a 67-yard run. Justin Grapengeter scored the only TD for Hilltop (2-5, 0-3).
