Olwin, who has coached for more than 30 years at eight schools, led Lake to a 4-6 overall record and 3-4 record in the Northern Buckeye Conference last season.

Olwin stepped down to take over the program at Ada. The Bulldogs were ranked No. 5 in the final state poll and went 10-2 last season. They reached the second round of the Division VI playoffs.

Olwin has also coached at Antwerp, Mechanicsburg, Tiffin Calvert, Ridgedale, Arlington, Fairview, and Versailles.

His last position prior to his job at Lake was at Versailles, where he had a 23-19 record from 2008-11.
