Woodward girls top Waite in OT

Woodward 58, Waite 53

K’Shawna Barnett had 26 points and 14 rebounds, while Cierria Stamper had a triple-double with 14 points, 17 rebounds, and 10 blocks but Woodward still needed overtime Wednesday to top visiting Waite in City League girls basketball.

Woodward (3-4) led 32-24 at the half before Waite came back to tie it and send it to overtime at 53-all.

Ramiah Henry had 20 for the Indians, while Taylor Works added 16.

 

Start 58, Bowsher 34

Shay Burroughs led Start (5-4, 4-1 CL) with 12 points, while Mariah White had 10.

Bricah Brayford had 14 points for the Rebels, while Imani Fifer added 12.

 

Rogers 83, Scott 19

Keasja Peace led the Rams (7-0, 6-0 CL) with 18 points, Marquelle Williams added 14, Tori Easley 13, Sasha Dailey 12, and Sydney Petty 11.

The Bulldogs are 3-2, 2-2.

GENOA — Jared Rettig led the Flyers (5-0, 2-0 NBC) with 29 points, while Jacob Rettig had 20. Brandyn Neal had 17, Cody Witt 15, Todd Walters 10 and Connor Bowen 10.

Luke Rightnowar led the Comets (2-4, 1-1) with 19. Noah Goodrich and Casey Gose each had 15.
