Moschetti’s 34 points help Yellow Jackets top Wildcats

Irish remain unbeaten; Generals, Wauseon earn wins

Perrysburg 79, Northview 51

Nick Moschetti scored 10 of his 34 points during the second quarter, when the Yellow Jackets outscored Northview 25-11 to take control on Friday night at home in Northern Lakes League boys basketball.

Moschetti hit six 3-pointers for Perrysburg (8-0, 4-0), which led 39-24 at halftime. Nate Patterson added 17 points, and Matt Kaczinski added 12.

Aeron West scored 17 points to lead Northview (1-7, 0-4). Adam Downing added 11.

Central Catholic 72, St. Francis 42

Marcus Winters scored 15 points, and both DeShone Kizer and Jermiah Braswell added 12 as Irish (8-0, 4-0 TRAC) won on the road.

Lamar Carswell finished with 10 points for the Knights (2-5, 1-4).

Anthony Wayne 77, Bowling Green 61

BOWLING GREEN — Matt Fox hit three 3-pointers and scored 28 points as the Generals won their road NLL game.

Jake Reid added 16 points for AW (5-1, 4-0), which led 42-21 at halftime, while Jamar Allen added 12.

La’Monte Stone’s 16 points led the Bobcats (2-6, 1-3). Trent Hinton scored 12.

Wauseon 61, Start 47

Noah Castle’s 21 points and Alec Lillich’s 15 points lifted Wauseon (8-2) to a road victory.

Chris Adams hit five 3-pointers and scored 19 points for Scott (0-8), while Mike Mitchell added 11 points.

Napoleon 62, Maumee 51

NAPOLEON — For the Wildcats (4-4, 1-3 NLL), Blake Dunbar scored 15 and Nick Daman added 12.

Mitchell Kontak had 18 and Louie Mauro 12 for the Panthers (1-6, 1-3).

Fremont Ross 46, Clay 41

FREMONT — Patricc Booth scored 18 points for Clay in a TRAC road game.

Drew Solander led Fremont Ross with 18 points while Jarvis Jones added 13 for the Little Giants, who led 18-16 at halftime.

Frank Ramirez added 10 points for Clay.

Fremont St. Joseph 64, Calvert 57

FREMONT —Hunter Harrison tossed in 23 points while Ryan Williams added 13 for St. Joe (4-1, 2-1 MAL).

Austin Ball led Calvert (4-1, 2-1) with 19 points, Drew Ritzler added 17 and Mike Bennett 15.

Maumee Valley 60, Arcadia 30

Thad Woodard led a balanced attack with 17 points — five Hawks scored at least seven points — as Maumee Valley (7-1) pulled away at home.

Hayden Ramsey scored 14 points to lead Arcadia (2-6), which was outscored 28-10 after halftime. Josh Ireland added 11.

Clyde 62, Port Clinton 27

PORT CLINTON — Eric Wiseman scored 13 points, Dristen Cook added 12, and Derek Gray and Collin Rieman both finished with 10 as Clyde (4-0, 3-0) won in Sandusky Bay Conference play.

Stefan Daniels and Nathan Stubblefield led Port Clinton (3-6, 1-5) with eight points apiece.
