Swisher, Harris lead Mules

Bedford 65, Monroe 54

TEMPERANCE — The Kicking Mules ran to a 33-22 halftime lead and won behind two players who finished with a double-double Friday night in Southeastern Conference Red Division boys basketball.

Adam Swisher finished with 15 points and 14 rebounds, while Jeremey Harris had 16 points and 10 boards for Bedford (4-3, 2-2).

Dylan Barr added 15 points — including 12 from the free-throw line.

For Monroe (5-3, 2-2), Riley Wood led with 17 points.

Whiteford 77, Clinton 52

CLINTON, Mich. — Colin Lake poured in 28 points to lead the Bobcats (5-2, 3-1 Tri-County Conference).

Zach Perry added 13 and Troy Diller 11.

For the Redskins (1-6, 0-3), Ryon Luzier and Ben Ureche each had 10.

Bedford 51, Monroe 25

TEMPERANCE — Nicole Rightnowar and Rachel Lewandowski had eight points each to lead Bedford (7-2).

The Mules used a 16-2 advantage during the second quarter to pull away.

Christin Tylutki led Monroe (2-6) with eight points.
