Lake scores 42, sets TCC all-time record

Whiteford 91, Sand Creek 57

OTTAWA LAKE, Mich. — Colin Lake poured in 42 points Monday night to become the all-time scorer in the Tri-County Conference boys basketball history.

Lake has 1,132 points in TCC games, breaking the mark of 1,109 by Eddie Sharpe. Sharpe owns the Whiteford record for all games at 1,693, but Lake is closing in with 1,642.

Troy Diller scored 19 and Zach Perry 11 for the Bobcats (10-4, 6-3).

The Aggies (1-9, 0-4) were led by Nolan Cook with 14, Jamison Near with 13, and Will Gritzmaker with 12.

Girls

Southview 53, Waite 36

In the Division I girls basktball sectional at Central Catholic, the Cougars (16-7) advanced as Sarah Hepzig tallied 31 points.

Southview led 24-13 at halftime.

The Indians (7-15) were led by Ramiah Henry with 13. Yatiah Caldwell had 12.
