Fries tallies 22 points, Horn adds 15 in Southview victory

SOUTHVIEW 57, ROGERS 56

Ryan Fries scored 22 points, including 11 in the pivotal third quarter, to lead the Cougars to a nonleague win against the Rams on Tuesday. 

Tehree Horn added  15 points and Christian Wagenhauser had 12 for Southview (8-0)

Christian Smith had 19 points and Caleb Smith had 11 for Rogers (2-7).

 

ARCHBOLD 73, NAPOLEON 42

NAPOLEON — Bryce Williams had 20 points as the BlueStreaks beat the Wildcats in a nonleague contest.

Rigo Ramos added 12 points and Eli Miller finished with 11 for Archbold.

Landon Williams had 15 points and Jarrett Gerdeman 12 for Napoleon.

 

GIRLS

OTTAWA-GLANDORF 48, PERRYSBURG 41

Kadie Hempfling scored 14 as the Titans beat the host Yellow Jackets in a nonleague game.

Erin Kaufman added 12 for Ottawa-Glandorf (10-1).

Ashlynn Brown led Perrysburg (7-2) with 16 points, and Whitney Thames had 10.

 

SWANTON 40, HOLGATE 30

SWANTON — Haley Nelson scored 14 points as the Bulldogs beat the Tigers in a nonleague game.

Sidney Taylor chipped in 10 for Swanton (6-3).

Holgate (7-3) was led by Kacee Theisen’s nine points.

 

ELMWOOD 70, WOODMORE 46

ELMORE — Zoe Shank scored 22 points to lead the Royals to a convincing road win in Northern Buckeye Conference play. 

Mattison Hillard scored 12 and Jill Hannah added 10 for the Royals (8-1, 6-0 NBC).

Brooke Allen finished with 14 points for Woodmore (5-5, 2-4).
