Outlook: Maumee just missed out on a playoff spot last season, losing in a tiebreaker for the final spot in Division II's Region 6.
The Panthers must replace fleet-footed quarterback Jake Schneider, who led the league in passing and rushing last season. Senior Steve Duby will step into that role in the Panthers' spread attack.
Duby will still have the NLL's top receiver as a weapon. Senior Dominique King had 34 catches for 770 (22.6) and earned all-district first team.
Duby was an All-NLL first-team defensive back last season.
"It's his turn at quarterback and he's doing a good job," Boles said.
Protecting Duby up front will be a large offensive line.
"We have a little bit more size than we normally do," Boles said.
Grzegorzewski, a three-year starter, and Farina both earned all-league honors on the line.
Schultz, an NLL first team defensive lineman, will step in as the main running back. McCrum, who started as a sophomore and missed last season with a shoulder injury, returns at defensive back.
"Depth is our biggest concern because we have a lot of guys going both ways," Boles said. "We will be okay if we stay healthy.
