Coach: Doug Pearson, 11th year

Last season: 7-3, 4-3 TRAC

Returning letter winners: 10

Returning starters: Offense 3, defense 2

Schemes: Spread/3-4

Top players: Seniors Brogan Roback, 6-4, 190, QB; Matt Miller, 6-5, 255, OT-DE; Liam Allen, 5-10, 175, WR; Tony Harper, 6-4, 208, TE-LB; Jake Nachtrab, 6-3, 230, OT-DE.

Outlook: The Titans will rely on their large group of 23 seniors to lead the way toward contention in the TRAC. But, with starters returning at just five of 22 positions, and the loss of Division I All-Ohio first-team punter Brandon Smith, who was also an outstanding placekicker, climbing beyond the fourth-place spot they were projected at may prove difficult.

Miller is a Wisconsin recruit, Roback (1,645 passing yards, 14 TDs) has committed to Eastern Michigan, and Harper has chosen Pittsburgh.

Pearson (82-38 record with Titans) likes his team's work ethic, and points to a lack of depth on both lines, an inexperienced secondary, and the loss of Smith's kicking talent as possible trouble areas.

"We will play a lot of kids who have never started a varsity game," Pearson said. "We play an extremely difficult non-league schedule, so we have to grow up in a real hurry."
