Coach: Marek Moldawsky, second year

Last season: 3-7, 1-6 NLL

Returning letter winners: 16

Returning starters: Offense 6, defense 8

Schemes: Spread/4-3

Top players: Seniors Corey Bowman, 5-10, 158, RB/CB; Mark Bernsdorff, 5-11, 173, WR/DB; Cameron Moore, 6-0, 164, WR/DB; Kyle Reid, 6-2, 217, OL/DL; Pete Cook, 5-7, 175, RB/LB; Chris Nowicki, 6-0, 180, WR/LB; Kyle Kremchek, 5-11, 180, QB.

Outlook: Moldawsky said senior leadership has been excellent heading into the season.

He said the skill positions on offense and the linebackers and defensive backs should be strengths.

Bowman is back after rushing 125 times for 580 yards (4.6 average) and six touchdowns. Bernsdorff caught 54 passes for 559 yards (10.4 average) and seven touchdowns. Nowicki had 279 receiving yards.

Reid and Cook each had 42 solo tackles last season.

"Overall team chemistry is great this year," Moldawsky said.

But both the offensive and defensive lines are young.

"Our varsity players have shown a high level of commitment during offseason training and conditioning," Moldawsky said. "As coaches we are excited to see the amount of improvement we have made since taking over the program in 2011."
