Panthers lose as game ends at half

Massillon Washington got two rushing touchdowns from Ryne Moore and Kentrell Taylor to win the game at Maumee which was ended at halftime because of lightning.

Moore finished with 147 yards rushing on nine carries and scored on runs of 1 and 10 yards, while Taylor added 78 yards on five attempts and had TD runs of 18 and 50 yards.

Massillon's other TD came on a 56-yard interception return by Brody Tonn early in the first quarter.

The Panthers responded with two scores to lead 12-7 with 3:28 left in the first quarter.

Andrew Schultz scored on a one-yard run and Dominique King caught a 57-yard scoring strike from Steve Duby.

Schultz finished with 73 yards rushing for Maumee (2-1), while Duby completed 7-of-14 passes for 155 yards. King caught four passes for 130 yards.
