Woodmore senior Mikayla Baer, who has spent much of her career competing on the boys golf team, has advanced to her third consecutive Division II girls state tournament as an individual.

Baer earned All-Ohio second team as a sophomore when she tied for 10th overall. Last fall she was All-Ohio first team after tying for fourth place.

This year, she carded a 77 at district to qualify to state, which will be held Friday and Saturday at Ohio State's Gray Course.

Also returning to the D-II state girls tournament is Lakota sophomore Makayla Dull, who earned All-Ohio second team last year with a 10th-place finish.
