BOWLING GREEN — The Wildcats staked themselves to an early advantage with two first-quarter punt returns for touchdowns and rolled to a victory Friday night to clinch a Northern Lakes Leagueoutright title.
Nick George rambled 63 yards with the first return to score, then eight minutes later Charlie Harris responded with a 35-yarder.
George finished with three TDs, also running for scores of 15 and five yards, while Harris also scored on a nine-yard run. Jordan Lauf grabbed a 25-yard TD pass from David Yunker for Napoleon (9-0-1, 7-0). Bryant Schlade totaled 138 rushing yards.
For the Bobcats (3-7, 1-6), Andrew Dennis tossed TD strikes to Aaron Donaldson and Brock Powers, while Israel Vento ran for a touchdown. Powers paced the ground game with 115 yards.
Southview 62, Northview 0
Austin Valdez paced Southview in a blowout victory over Northview passing for 184 yards and two touchdowns and rushing 11 times for 205 yards and a one-yard TD.
Ahmad Parker added TD runs of five and 10 yards for the Cougars (6-4, 5-2). Keith Gilmore scored on runs of 6 and 19 yards and caught a 49-yard TD pass from Valdez.
Valdez hit J.J. Pinckney for a 14-yard TD strike. Damon Gresinger scored on a 16-yard run, and Griffin McDonald added a one-yard TD run.
The Cougar defense held Northview (3-7, 1-6) to 81 total yards.

Anthony Wayne 55, Springfield 20
Sam Bruno and Tommy Eichenlaub combined for 242 yards and five touchdowns on 17 carries as the Generals rolled at home.
Bruno led Anthony Wayne (5-5, 3-4) with eight carries for 130 yards and three TDs. Eichenlaub finished with nine attempts for 112 yards and two scores as the Generals led 55-7 through three quarters.
Eric Zelina and Cal Johnson each caught TD passes from Jake Reid. Jayden Corbitt added a 23-yard interception return for the Generals’ final score.
Springfield (1-9, 1-6) was led by Elijah Todd, who had 16 carries for 60 yards and a touchdown. Scott Seymour added a one-yard TD run and a nine-yard TD pass to Jesean Fisher.
