Perrysburg girls win soccer regional semifinal over Anthony Wayne
10/31/2012BOWLING GREEN -- Perrysburg senior standout Maddy Williams scored a goal and added two assists Wednesday night to lead the unbeaten Yellow Jackets to a 3-0 victory over Anthony Wayne in a girls Division I regional soccer semifinal at Cochrane Stadium.
After being stopped on three prior shots by Generals goalkeeper Taylor Hill, Williams scored her 45th goal of the season on a left-footed shot from 15 yards out on the right side in the 24th minute.'
Williams has scored at least one goal in every match this season for No. 1-ranked Perrysburg (20-0-0), which has outscored its foes 103-5 this season.
Freshman Beth Glowacki and junior Lucy Walton scored the Yellow Jackets other two goals.
