Bowsher 100, Sandusky 55

The Bowsher boys basketball team amassed a 27-8 first-quarter lead and never looked back at home on Tuesday night.

Nate Allen led the scoring parade for Bowsher (2-0) with 27 points, while adding 10 rebounds. Dajuan King contributed 21 points while Jason Sandridge chipped in with 18 for the Rebels.

Mike Delk’s 17 points paced Sandusky (1-1).

Fremont St. Joe’s 52, Eastwood 57

PEMBERVILLE — Jordan Sessler and Zack Yeckley each scored 14 points as the Streaks won the season opener for both teams.

Jake Schmeltz led Eagles with a game-high 22 points, hitting three of the team’s six 3s. Fremont St. Joe’s dominated the second 18-7 to lead 30-20 at halftime.

Emmanuel Christian 49, Hilltop 40

Ryan Creech poured in 20 points to lead the Warriors (3-0) to a home victory. Payne Sentle and Brandon Willis each had 13 points for Hilltop (0-1).

Tinora 57, Delta 46

DELTA — Robert Wuo and Derek Drewes both scored 15 points as Tinora won on the road. Landon Brown led a balanced Delta offense — six different Panthers scored at least five points — with 11 points.

Old Fort 74, Woodmore 54

OLD FORT — Led by brothers Dalton (24 points) and Hunter (21) Perry the Stockaders cruise by Woodmore. AJ Phillimore added 10. For the Wildcats Donny Bowen poured in 22 and Jake Lewandowski 12.

Whiteford 86, Blissfield 70

BLISSFIELD,Mich. — The Bobcats behind Zach Perry with 24 points, Colin Lake with 22 and Troy Diller with 20 open the season with a road win. For the Royals, Chad Vandecave had 23.

Evergreen 75, Northwood 41

Cory Mossing netted 22 and Jamie Wright 17 for the Vikings. Tyler Williams had 16 and Brandon Hoffman added 15 for the Rangers.
