Arrows pick up 2nd win of season; Stritch wins conference showdown

St. Ursula 56, Scott 43

Megan Burns scored 17 points as St. Ursula won in girls basketball on Saturday night, improving to 2-4 this season.

Three Bulldogs (1-4) reached double figures, led by Delaina Lane’s 16 points. Erica Besteder and Jariesha Dillard each scored 10.

Cardinal Stritch 55, Emmanuel Christian 38

Abby Mass scored 20 points and Cecilia Gozdowski added 10 points to help Cardinal Stritch (2-4) to a home win in the Toledo Area Athletic Conference.

Mackenzie McCauley paced Emmanuel Christian (2-2) with 14 points.

Perrysburg 68, Marion Harding 20

MARION — Perrysburg improved to 7-0 with a road win.

Allex Brown led the way for the Yellow Jackets, scoring 13 points. Maddy Williams added 11 points, and Abby Sattler scored 10.

Marion Harding (1-6) turned the ball over 27 times.

Ottawa Hills 51, Maumee Valley 18

Allie Dewire paced Ottawa Hills (4-1) with 12 points on the way to an easy road win.

Kennedie Jackson led Maumee Valley (0-4) with 10 points.

Toledo Christian 55, Gibsonburg 32

GIBSONBURG — The Eagles remain unbeaten (3-0) by grabbing the road win. Lydia Yeager scored 15, Darian Westmeyer 13, and Faith Johnson 12 to lead the way.

Amanda Shammo scored a game-high 17 for the Golden Bears (1-2).

Open Door Christian 38, Monclova Christian 24

Alexis Werley scored 14 and Brooke Camera added 10 for Open Door. Jessie Holtzsher paced the host Thunder with 10.

Fayette 66, Fairview 31

FAYETTE — Taylor Griffiths scored 15 points, and Kaela Seiler added 14 to help Fayette to an easy home win.
