Mules gain win in overtime

Bedford 60,Ann Arbor Skyline 51

ANN ARBOR — Jackson Lamb hit a 3-pointer with 1.2 seconds left Friday night for the Mules to send the Southeastern Conference boys basketball game to overtime.

In OT, Bedford (7-0) made 10 of 10 free throws for all of its points. Lamb finished with 30 points and 16 rebounds.

Peter Backer led Skyline with 11 points, while Akeme Okonkwo and Marquise Wesley added 10 each.

Whiteford 49, Clinton 40

CLINTON, Mich — Colin Lake poured in 23 points and picked up five steals to lead the Bobcats (6-2) to a road victory.

Austin Gardner pulled down 10 rebounds for Whiteford (6-2).

T.J. Baker had 23 points to pace Clinton (7-1).

Blue Devils pull upset of Generals

Springfield 54,Anthony Wayne 52

Springfield outscored the Generals 24-17 in the second half and then pulled off the upset at home in double-overtime Friday night in Northern Lakes League boys baketball.

Anthony Wayne led 24-17 at the half but couldn't hold onto the lead as Springfield came roaring back with a 11-4 fourth quarter advantage to tie it at 41.

The Blue Devils outscored AW 5-3 in the second OT.

Curtis Hassell paced Springfield (7-4, 3-3 NLL) with 14 points, while Dilyn Good added 13 points. Marquan Hodges chipped in with 12 points and Logan Weimer added 10.

Matt Fox hit five 3-pointers for the Generals (8-2, 5-1) on his way to 23 points. Mark Donnal added 19 points.

Bowling Green 81, Maumee 47

BOWLING GREEN — The Bobcats (5-7, 4-2 NLL) jumped on the Panthers early, sprinting out to a 24-10 first-quarter edge .

Senior Vitto Brown fired in 28 points and pulled down 13 rebounds for BG. Andrew Herringshaw chipped in with 19 points while LaMonta Stone added 12 and Nolan Dill 10. Herringshaw connected on five 3-point shots.

Dominique Brown led Maumee (9-2, 4-2) with 18 points while Jason Wanamaker totaled 11.

Perrysburg 62,Southview 52

Shane Edwards topped the Yellow Jackets, who pulled away with a 23-13 margin in the fourth quarter.

Nick Moschetti and Steve Pattenson each tossed in 14 points for Perrysburg (8-3, 5-1).

Matt Morrison’s 14 points sparked the Cougars (2-9, 0-6). Jeriemiah Roberts and Brandon Stewart delivered 13 and 10 points, respectively.

Napoleon 60,Northview 52

NAPOLEON — The Wildcats won behind Jordan Lauf’s 28 points.

Anson Lankenau added 13 and Blake Dunbar had 10 for Napoleon (4-5, 1-5).

Connor Hartnett had 26 and Jeff Czerniakowski 11 for Northview (3-6, 1-5).

Mason ignites Waite to first win

Taywyn Mason recorded 23 points as the Indians picked up their first win of the season Friday night in City League boys basketball.

Lavarr Robinson added 14 points and Kenyatta Bowen had 10 for Waite (1-11, 1-4 CL). The Indians recovered from an early 22-10 deficit by outscoring Woodward 38-24 over the second and third quarters.

Ramoan Fane led Woodward (1-9, 0-5) with 20 points. J'aonte Kimber had 11.

Rogers 76, Scott 60

Clemmye Owens poured in 23 points to lead Rogers at home.

Tribune Dailey added 15 points for the Rams (7-3, 5-0).

Chris Harris scored 18 points for Scott (3-7, 2-3), while Chris Darrington scored 17, Jermal Richardson 11 and Bryson Collins 10.

Loving, Glover pace Titans past Spartans

St. John's 86,Lima Senior 68

Marc Loving scored 28 points, including 12 in a decisive third quarter run, to lead the Titans Friday night to a Three Rivers Athletic Conference boys basketball victory.

Anthony Glover added 22 points, including 11 in the third quarter for the Titans (10-3). Tyler Thompson added 11.

Damariante' Dillingham paced Lima Senior (4-4) with 16 points. Rico Stafford had 12.

Fremont Ross 56,St. Francis 42

FREMONT — Balanced scoring was the key for the Little Giants (7-3, 3-3 TRAC).

Dylan Jagodzinski and Jack Gedeon each scored 12 points, with Gedeon also grabbing 13 rebounds.

Mark Snell paced St. Francis (0-10, 0-6) with 12 points.

Findlay 64, Clay 47

FINDLAY — Michael Clark scored 22 points and Joseph Davidson had 19 for the Trojans.

Austin Gutting added 10 points for Findlay (7-3).

Pat Booth had 21 points for the Eagles (0-9). Jack Nagy added 12.

Cantrell helps Gibsonburg upset Ottawa Hills

GIBSONBURG — Andrew Cantrell completed a go-ahead four-point play to give Gibsonburg a dramatic victory Friday night in Toledo Area Athletic Conference boys basketball.

Cantrell paced the Golden Bears (4-7, 2-3 TAAC) with 19 points, including six 3-pointers. Jordan Kreglow scored 19 points.

Lucas Janowicz poured in 23 points to lead the Green Bears (6-3, 3-2).

Ottawa Hills led 30-23 at halftime and 38-36 after the third quarter.

Toledo Christian 82,Emmanuel Christian 38

The visiting Eagles got a 40-point output from Eric Cellier as he was 17 of 23 from the field (13 of 16 on 2-point shots).

Toledo Christian (10-1, 5-0) led 50-23 at halftime. Josh Winzeler added 15 points.

The Warriors (6-5, 2-3) were paced by Jason Regnier with 14.

Maumee Valley 65,Danbury 30

LAKESIDE — The Hawks (7-3, 3-2 TAAC) were led by Caleb Willhight’s 14 points.

Davey Brown added 13 points, Solomon Collins 12 and Lucas Isaza 10 for the winners.

Dominic Manuella scored 12 points for Danbury (1-9, 0-5).

Cardinal Stritch 40, Northwood 18

Austin Adams scored 14 points and Robbie Bekier added 13 points to lead visiting Cardinal Stritch (5-5, 3-2).

The Cardinals held Northwood to five points in the second half.

Evan Perkins and John Segura led the Rangers (3-8, 1-4) with seven points each.

Archbold beats Swanton; Port Clinton gains victory

ARCHBOLD — The Blue Streaks rolled with a 23-0 third-quarter advantage Friday night in Northwest Ohio Athletic League boys basketball.

Tyson Dietrich scored 17 points and Tyson Schnitkey added 15 to lead Archbold (8-2, 2-1 NWOAL).

For the Bulldogs (2-8, 0-3) Bryce McComb and Isaac Niedzwiecki each had six points.

Port Clinton 55, Edison 49

MILAN, Ohio — Nathan Stubblefield paced the Redskins (2-8) with 18 points, while Brock Moore added 11 in a Sandusky Bay Conference game.

Luke Frankboner tallied 25 points to lead Edison.

Fremont St. Joseph 64, North Baltimore 38

NORTH BALTIMORE — Jordan Sessler scored 13 points to lead Fremont St. Joseph (9-3, 4-1) in a Midland Athletic League game.

Connor Dudley added 12 points for the Streaks, while Ryan Williams scored 11 and Sam Picciuto 10.

Derek Frost paced North Baltimore (1-11, 1-4) with 15 points.
