Generals top Devils; Bobcats beat Panthers

Antony Wayne 51, Springfield 40

The Generals led 24-14 at halftime and held on for a road win Friday night in Northern Lakes League girls basketball.

Jasmine Bonivel paced Anthony Wayne (9-4, 5- NLL) with 19 points and Megan Bedard added 15 points.

Natalie Yoder scored 13 points to lead Springfield (7-8, 2-7) and Sydney Powhida chipped in with 10 points.

Bowling Green 68, Maumee 41

BOWLING GREEN — Hanna Williford and Livvy Dill scored 14 points each to lead the Bobcats past Maumee.

Tyanna Smith added 13 points for Bowling Green (8-5, 5-4).

Kirya Harris paced Maumee (0-12, 0-9) with 11 points, while Joeal Olman added 10 points.

Northview 45,Napoleon 23

NAPOLEON — Kendall McCoy and Kendall Jessing each tallied 14 points to lead Wildcats.

Northview (6-5, 5-4) took a 13-4 lead after the first and expanded a 19-12 lead at the break with another 13-4 advantage in the third quarter.

Kayla Gerken led the Wildcats (3-10, 2-6) with seven points.

Royals improve to 12-0; Knights trim Bulldogs

Elmwood 54,Woodmore 42

ELMORE — Kristen Curtis scored 17 points and Brittany Gross added 15, including 12 in the final quarter as undefeated Elmwood won Friday night in Northern Buckeye Conference girls basketball.

The Royals (12-0, 6-0 NBC) made 12 of 12 from the free-throw line in the final five minutes.

Leah Bench led Woodmore (7-7, 4-3) with 11 points. Mackenzie Johnson and Allie Wank scored 10 each.

Lake 49, Eastwood 43

PEMBERVILLE — Lake trailed early but took a 30-18 lead into halftime before needing free throws late to seal the win.

Jordyn Taylor pumped in 22 points to lead the way for the Flyers (6-8, 4-3) while Alyssa Shaffer had 13.

Diana Bushman scored 21 for the Eagles (2-9, 2-5) while Kelsey Weaver had 11.

Otsego 41, Rossford 34

TONTOGANY—Morgan Smoyer scored 11 points to pace the Knights.

Courtney Morris had 17 for the Bulldogs.

Otsego (6-6, 3-4) led 24-16 at halftime, but Rossford (7-6, 5-2) rallied to tie it at 27 all after three quarters.

Genoa 48, Fostoria 34

GENOA — Genoa jumped out to a 10-0 lead after the first quarter and never looked back.

Haley Pickard scored 21 points to lead the Comets (6-5, 3-3).

Erica Moore paced Fostoria (0-12, 0-7) with 11 points.

Bedford 53, Ann Arbor Skyline 49

TEMPERANCE — Lindsey Shepherd scored 15 points Friday night to lead the Mules to a Southeastern Conference girls basketball victory.

Rachel Lewandowski added 12 for Bedford (8-2). Shepherd and Lewandowski each had 16 rebounds as the Mules came back from a 22-8 deficit.

Janae Sims had 14 points to lead Skyline (5-5). Anita Vandermeullen added 11 and Mya Morris had 10.
