CITY LEAGUE

Scott 89, Start 58

Six Bulldogs scored in double figures, led by Jamal Richardson's 19 points as Scott won at home Friday night in City League boys basketball.

Chris Darrington scored 16, Bryson Collins 15, Marcus Gilmer 12, Chris Harris 11 and Trey Brown 10 for Scott (5-7, 3-3 CL).

Dion Ivery paced Start (7-6, 3-3) with 22 points and Scottie Hicks added 11.


Bowsher 71, Woodward 59

Nate Allen scored 18 of his 24 points in the second half as Bowsher extended its 37-31 halftime advantage on the way to a road win.

Cameron White added 16 points for the Rebels (11-3, 5-1) and Marcus McGovern scored 11.

Craig Kirkwood paced Woodward (3-9, 1-5) with 15 points and Tehron Watson added 13.


Rogers 75, Waite 40

Clemmye Owens and Devonte Pratt each scored 15 points to lead Rogers to a road victory.

Keandre Gilmer added 11 for the Rams (8-3, 6-0).

Taywyn Mason scored 14 points to lead Waite (1-13, 1-5) and Kenyatta Bowen added 10.

 

THREE RIVERS ATHLETIC CONFERENCE

Whitmer 69, Fremont Ross 44

Ricardo Smith scored 20 of his 27 points in the first half as the host Panthers built a 36-15 halftime advantage Friday night in Three Rivers Athletic Conference boys basketball.

Nigel Hayes added 17 points for Whitmer (11-2, 6-1 TRAC).

Jack Gedeon paced Fremont Ross (7-4, 3-4) with 10 points.


St. Francis 53, Clay 43

St. Francis outscored visiting Clay 36-28 in the second half and earned their first victory of the season.

Jay Snell scored 16 points to lead the Knights (1-12, 1-6). Alex Calmes added 12 and Pat Szenderski 10.

Jack Nagy led Clay (0-10, 0-7) with 16 points and Pat Booth scored 10.

 

NORTHERN LAKES LEAGUE

Southview 57, Napoleon 56

At Southview, the Cougars prevailed on a free throw by Brandon Stewart with 20 seconds to play in overtime Friday night to gain their first Northern Lakes League boys basketball win of the season.

Matt Morrison’s 21 points led Southview (3-9, 1-7 NLL) with 21 points while Jeremiah Roberts contributed 15.

The Wildcats missed shots at the end of both regulation and overtime. Jordan Lauf fired in 25 points for Napoleon (1-6, 4-6), while Anson Lankenau scored 14 and Blake Dunbar 11.


Perrysburg 62, Bowling Green 61

Nick Moschetti tallied a game-high of 32 points to lead the host Yellow Jackets to the league win.

Shane Edwwards added 10 for Perrysburg (9-3, 6-1 NLL).

The Bobcats’ Vitto Brown had a team-high 26 in defeat. Andrew Herringshaw had 11 and Lamonte Stone 10 for Bowling Green (5-8, 4-3).

 

NORTHERN BUCKEYE CONFERENCE

Otsego 60, Rossford 55

A.C. Limes scored 34 points to help the Knights survive in overtime and stay unbeaten in Northern Buckeye Conference boys basketball.

The host Knights (12-1, 7-0) got 15 points from Jerome Griffin.

Derek Mack had 20 and Mack Miller 16 for the Bulldogs (5-2, 7-7).

Otsego led 22-19 at halftime and 32-31 after three quarters. The score at the end of regulation was 41 all and it was tied at 49 after the first overtime period.


Eastwood 61, Lake 57

MILLBURY — Grant Peters scored 20 points to lead the Eagles to a victory Friday night in Northern Buckeye Conference boys basketball.

The Eagles (4-3, 4-10) got 17 points from Kevin Sweeney and 14 from Jake Smeltz.

Eastwood held a 26-25 lead at halftime and 43-42 advantage after three quarters.

Connor Bowen poured in 23 and Jared Rettig 18 for the Flyers (5-2, 12-2).


Elmwood 39,Woodmore 36

BLOOMDALE — Aaron Arnold had 13 points and Zach Foster added 12 to help lift the Royals (8-5, 3-4) in overtime.

Matt Haar scored 12 points and Donny Bowen added 10 for Woodmore (5-8, 3-4), which controlled the fourth quarter 10-6 to force OT.

 

TOLEDO AREA ATHLETIC CONFERENCE

Toledo Christian 84, Danbury 31

Eric Cellier poured in 29 points Friday night to lead the Eagles to a Toledo Area Athletic Conference boys basketball victory.

Toledo Christian (11-1, 10- TAAC) raced out to a 34-9 lead after the first quarter. Jessie White and Dominique Pittman added 10 points.

Dylan Buckley paced Danbury (1-10, 0-6) with nine points.


Cardinal Stritch 53, Gibsonburg 44

The host Cardinals erased a halftime deficit, outscoring Gibsonburg 18-7 in the fourth quarter.

Joey Cousino (11 points) and Brooks Gasser (10) led a balanced attack for Cardinal Stritch (8-5, 5-2 TAAC). Jo-Jo McVicker and Robbie Bekier both added nine points.

Tyler Ernsthausen led Gibsonburg (5-8, 3-3) with 14 points. Jordan Kreglow added 13.


Maumee Valley 66, Northwood 45

Davey Brown scored 20 points to lead Maumee Valley to a road win.

Caleb Willhight added 17 points for the Hawks (8-4, 4-3), while Thad Woodard chipped in with 10.

Brandon Mahoney led Northwood (3-10, 1-5) with 15 points and Jake Davenport scored 11.

 

NORTHWEST OHIO ATHLETIC LEAGUE 

Delta 44, Swanton 43

SWANTON — Micah Mohr hit a 3-point shot with three seconds to play Friday to lift the Panthers in Northwest Ohio Athletic League boys basketball.

Scott Garlinger had 10 points to pace Delta (10-4, 4-0 NWOAL).

Paul Kennedy topped the Bulldogs (2-9, 0-4) with 12 points while Bryce McComb added 11.

Delta converted 5 of 5 free throws, while Swanton missed its only foul-shot opportunity.

The Bulldogs led 24-15 at halftime, but the Panthers rallied to take a 31-30 advantage after three quarters.


Evergreen 61, Liberty Center 44

METAMORA — The Vikings used a 19-0 run in the first half to grab a lead they would never lose.

Cory Mossing scored 18 points to lead Evergreen (10-2, 2-1), while Matt Brighton and Max Oswald added 12 each.

Kody Snyder paced Liberty Center (3-10, 1-3) with 14 points and Kaleb Pohlman scored 11.


Archbold 55, Patrick Henry 35

ARCHBOLD — Davin Shannon knocked down four 3-pointers and scored 16 points to lead the Blue Streaks.

Tyson Dietrich finished with 12 points for Archbold (10-2, 3-1), which led 23-11 at halftime.

Adam Prigge and AJ Wagner both scored nine to lead Patrick Henry (0-10, 0-3).


Bryan 52, Montpelier 40

MONTPELIER — Sean Culler scored 11 points, and Thomas Martin and Austin Martin each added 10 for the Golden Bears (7-6, 4-0) .

Blaine Thorp finished with 15 points to lead the Locomotives (1-11, 0-4), who trailed 31-12 at halftime.

Oak Harbor 58 Port Clinton 47

OAK HARBOR — Greg Haar led Oak Harbor with 22 points and A.J. Cecil added 15 points Friday night to lift the Rockets in a Sandusky Bay Conference boys basketball game.

Brock Moore scored 20 points to pace Port Clinton.

Oak Harbor led 28-23 at halftime before extending the lead in the second half.


Fayette 47, Pettisville 41

FAYETTE — A 13-5 third-quarter propelled Fayette (9-3, 5-0) to victory in a Buckeye Border Conference game.

Zayne Colegrove paced the Eagles with 18 points while Chandler Sanford and Cole Burkholder each chipped in with nine.

David Reyes scored 18 points to lead Pettisville (5-7, 3-2), which led 17-13 at halftime.


Monclova Christian 51, Elyia First Christian 50

Trevor Hester pumped in 30 points for the host Thunder.

Luke Parker had a game-high 37 for Elyria First Christian.


Whiteford 64,Sand Creek 39

SAND CREEK, Mich. — The Bobcats used a 29-14 advantage in the second half to put away Sand Creek in a Tri-County Conference game.

Zach Perry paced Whiteford (7-3) with 16 points.

William Gritzmaker scored seven points to lead Sand Creek (1-9).
